“A smashing farce of merry misadventures and mistaken identities, BOEING, BOEING tells the exploits of bachelor Bernard and his lovely female flight attendants. Three flight attendants, to be exact, from three different countries: and they all believe they’re engaged to Bernard! In the past, Bernard has been able to juggle these women due to his detailed timetable of his fiancés’ flight schedules. When the situation changes and all of the women end up at his apartment on the same day, Bernard (with help from his bewildered friend Robert) struggles to keep them from learning the truth. Will Bernard and Robert be able to keep them from one another? ...
As they say: all’s well that ends well!”
Bernard (20s-40s): An American Bachelor who resides in Paris, working as an architect. Bernard has the air of a “ladies man” who believes he has females figured out. He is charming and attractive but a scoundrel. He is engaged to all three air hostesses.
Robert (20s-30s): An old friend of Bernard’s who travels to Paris from Wisconsin. A shy, sweet, small town boy. He initially disapproves of Bernards lifestyle but admires his ability to keep things balanced. Robert is caught in the game himself, trying to keep Bernard’s intact.
Berte (21 and above): Bernard’s French housekeeper. She is an obedient and meticulous maid, but she isn’t shy about voicing her growing dissatisfaction with Bernard’s revolving- door lifestyle. Wonderfully sarcastic and blunt; also exhausted and exasperated.
(French accent required)
Gloria (21 and above): Bernard’s American Fiancée with a strong appetite for love, success, and unique food. She is an air hostess for TWA. Playfully cunning, confident, strong-willed, and not afraid to speak her mind. Politically progressive for the 60s and is often offended when people do not share her opinion. (New York accent required)
Gabriella (21 and above): Bernard’s Italian Fiancée. She is an air hostess for Alitalia. Feisty and seductive, she is incredibly smart and more independent than she initially appears (Italian accent required)
Gretchen (21 and above): Bernard’s German Fiancé. She is an air hostess for Lusthansa. Dominating but loving, she is full of intense passion that can switch between soft and sweet to loud and destructive in a moment. She is both intimidating and extremely attractive
(German accent required)
